US Stock of the Day - Understanding How it Works

US Stock of the Day is for traders who are looking for a US Stock to trade each day. I base my picks on US Stocks I follow on the Nasdaq, Dow, S&P and other indices such as the Russell 1000, etc., watching for a swing in the momentum upward. I keep a tight stop loss on all trades to minimize my risk... and allow the great stock trades to continue rising. These are not recommendations... merely entertainment. Please see the warning at the bottom of this page.

US Stock of the Day for June 28, 2011

Here's where we stand...

GMCR - purchase on June 14 @ $76.23 sitting today @ $84.94, a 11.4% gain.   I'm keeping my stop loss to $81.96.

June 27th, I chose FOSL @ $114.11 with a stop loss @ $112.97 and it triggered, closing @ $104.04.

For June 28th, I'm choosing SINA @ $96.12 with a stop loss @ $95.43.

OVERALL - The Overall total return is 18.6% so far in difficult an unpredictable market conditions.

So far... 2 winners... 2 even... and 2 loser (at -1% each) for a great overall profit.

See you on tomorrow!

  1. Hi, FOSL's high was over $115 yesterday so it did trigger.

SINA closed at 94.80 yesterday so I think you meant 96.12 instead of 69.12 for today.
