US Stock of the Day - Understanding How it Works

US Stock of the Day is for traders who are looking for a US Stock to trade each day. I base my picks on US Stocks I follow on the Nasdaq, Dow, S&P and other indices such as the Russell 1000, etc., watching for a swing in the momentum upward. I keep a tight stop loss on all trades to minimize my risk... and allow the great stock trades to continue rising. These are not recommendations... merely entertainment. Please see the warning at the bottom of this page.

US Stock of the Day for August 31, 2011

A great day...

Using the Evening Investor Strategy, I did exceptionally well Monday.  JAZZ was one of 13 positions I entered... with only 1 closing down on the day.  The rest will net me a profit (even at 1%, that's 12% cumulative... and I expect several to run higher).  While the markets had an average day on Tuesday, I did quite well again with several purchases rising, including the one listed here: NFLX.

Simply taking 5 minutes every evening could result in some significant returns...
and you'll see the results here.

Perhaps, in the future, I'll expand my picks... and share with you the others... rather than just one.  But, for now, I'm just pleased you're here.

I encourage you to check it out... or if you're looking for a proven long-term strategy, consider the Weekend Investor Strategy I developed.

two week risk free trial is available.

August 29th, I chose JAZZ @ $38.32 and it triggered the purchase @ $38.78.  It closed today @ $42.50, a  10.9% rise.  I'm raising my stop loss to $40.24.

August 30th, I chose NFLX @ $228.48 and it triggered the purchase and closed @ $236.28, a 3.4% gain.  I'm setting my stop loss @ $231.68.

August 31st, I'm choosing SODA @ $38.14.

The Overall total return is 83.7% since my first purchase in June.

So far... 10 winners... 2 even... and 11 losers (at -1% each, and one at 0.3%) for a great overall profit.

See you tomorrow!
