US Stock of the Day - Understanding How it Works

US Stock of the Day is for traders who are looking for a US Stock to trade each day. I base my picks on US Stocks I follow on the Nasdaq, Dow, S&P and other indices such as the Russell 1000, etc., watching for a swing in the momentum upward. I keep a tight stop loss on all trades to minimize my risk... and allow the great stock trades to continue rising. These are not recommendations... merely entertainment. US Stock of the Day for March 7, 2011

Blogger was having some difficulties last week... which prevented me from logging in and posting a daily stock of the day.  However, they seem to have the issues fixed... so join me each day this week for your US Stock of the Day.

On February 24, 2011, I chose RVBD @ $38.59 and it closed today @ $44.48, a 15% gain.  I'm splitting my stop loss into two orders.  The first @ $42.70 and the second at $39.40.

On March 3, 2011, I chose HOOK @ $8.26 and it closed at $8.57 on Friday.  I'm holding my stop loss at $8.40.

For March 7, 2011, I'm choosing WMT @ $52.60 with a stop loss at $52.00.
